The Intellivox-DS500 is the flagship of the slim line Intellivox DDS range and has been installed in high profile projects all around the world. It has proven to be a versatile and accurate solution for all venues requiring excellent speech intelligibility under highly reverberant conditions. With an acoustic length in excess of 4 m the Intellivox-DS500  not only offers long throw capability but also greater control at lower frequencies. A single Intellivox-DS500 is capable of covering an area up to 70 m while maintaining an even sound pressure level. The thirty two, custom designed, 4” loudspeakers are driven by a sixteen channel class-D amplifier, powered by a sophisticated switched mode power supply, all of which combine to ensure years of reliable operation. The loudspeakers themselves are arranged in accordance with our patented algorithm.

An extensive set of surveillance functions have also been implemented to meet the stringent demands of typical Voice Alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be controlled using our proprietary WinControl software which offers user friendly control of the beam steering parameters, audio processing and surveillance features. The increased low-mid frequency control offered by the array makes the Intellivox-DS500 suitable for easy and unobtrusive implementation in very large, highly reverberant and architecturally sensitive environments. The low frequency response of the system can be easily extended using a JBL sub woofer system.
