Eddie Kramer
Eddie Kramer is noted for his legendary recordings of Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeplin, David Bowie and the memorable performances of arguably the most significant musical event in history, the 1969 Woodstock Festival. Celebrating the festival’s 40th anniversary, Warner Home Video has released “Woodstock: 40th Anniversary—Ultimate Collector’s Edition” on Blu-Ray disc. The release features a re-mastered director’s cut of the original film, including many previously unreleased performances. Eddie Kramer was called on by Warner Home Video to mix this wealth of material. In a video interview at Capitol Records Studios, Eddie Kramer talked about the project and complimented JBL on the LSR6300 Series Studio Monitors. “I can hear tremendous detail in these JBL monitors. I think JBL is really doing it right these days.”
