We
have all seen speaker installations in which JBL portable products were suspended
using the 'dog-chain-through-the-handle' rigging method – a technique
that JBL strongly discourages. There are numerous applications in which a cost-effective,
widely available, quality speaker with suspension capability is required. These
installations are not highly engineered but they are numerous. To meet this
need, we have developed installation versions of two popular SoundFactor models – the
SF12Mi and the SF15i. These two speakers have the same value and great performance
as their ground-bound counterparts.

SF12Mi The SoundFactor SF12Mi is an economical, suspendable, twelve-inch, two-way speaker system designed for installation where ground stacking or pole mounting is impractical or undesirable. The SF12Mi is well suited to a variety of sound reinforcement applications including live music, music playback and speech. Other than substitution of three, threaded M10 suspension points for the handles, feet and pole-mount, the SF12Mi is identical to the popular SF12M portable sound reinforcement speaker. |

SF15i The SoundFactor SF15i is an economical, suspendable, fifteen-inch, two-way
speaker system designed for installation where ground stacking or pole mounting
is impractical or undesirable. The SF15i is well suited to a variety of sound
reinforcement applications including live music, music playback and speech.

than substitution of three, threaded M10 suspension points for the

the SF15i is identical to the popular SF15 portable sound reinforcement
speaker. |
