| NORTHRIDGE, CALIFORNIA, June 22, 2006 -- Demonstrating
the interoperability of JBL Professional loudspeaker lines,
leading sound company On Stage Audio recently provided the
audio system
for the Fox Broadcasting Company's annual
Upfront presentation, held May 18 at the Armory in New
York
City. The event, during which Fox introduced its Fall programming
schedule to a crowd of 4,000
potential advertisers, featured
appearances by major stars like Kiefer Sutherland, Simon
Cowell, Hugh
Laurie and Carrie Underwood.
The company currently employs more than 50 professionals in
five offices across the country, including
Orlando, Las Vegas,
Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco. This collective expertise is
the basis for On
Stage Audio's reputation as one of the top sound
reinforcement companies in the world since starting
out in 1985.
At Fox's Upfront event, On Stage Audio provided a system
comprising various models from JBL's
VERTEC® series, including 16 VT4889 full-size line array elements and 18 VT4888 mid-size
line array
elements (arranged in three clusters of six for delay
fills). Additionally, six VT4887 compact line array
elements were
used in a center cluster, with 16VT4882 mid-size subwoofers
providing low-frequency
sound reinforcement. Handling front of
house audio
duties was Paul Deuschle, Director for On Stage
Audio's Orlando, FL. office.

According to Deuschle, VERTEC line arrays were
the ideal
solution for the Fox Upfront event.
"We've used VERTEC for
a number of live productions over the past several years
because they're
extremely light, easy to set up and very easy
to
control," he said. "For Fox's Upfront, we had the
audio system
up and running very quickly and were
able to have everything in
place for rehearsals in
the preceding days."
Supplementing the primary VERTEC system were six VRX932LA compact portable line array loud-
speakers, used as front fill on top of the VT4882 subs, and 12 SRX712M loudspeakers serving as
stage monitors. "Optimizing the sound system was a relatively straightforward task because of the
interoperability between the VERTEC, VRX and SRX loudspeakers," explained Deucshle. "We truly
have confidence in the SRX product. We recently purchased another 120 VRX932LA speakers and
60 VRX718S subs." The SRX and VRX product lines have a common foundation with VERTEC, as
each line incorporates the same Differential Drive® component transducer technology.
JBL is extremely grateful for On Stage Audio's extensive reliance
on our system products," said David
Scheirman, Vice President
of Tour Sound, JBL Professional. "OSA's use of VERTEC line
arrays at the
Fox Upfront underscores not only the significance
of this prestigious event, but also On Stage Audio's
reputation
for excellence in live audio production."
