| NORTHRIDGE,
CALIFORNIA, July 25, 2005 — In a live sound
event that underscores the high fidelity and versatility of the
JBL VERTEC? line array speakers, Concert Services of Pacoima,
CA provided live sound for the Festival Bajo el Sol at the Los
Angeles Coliseum on July 16, 2005. This Hispanic Christian music
event featured an international group of inspirational artists,
including Grammy Award winner Marcos Witt, Luis Palau and El

Working in
conjunction with Atlas Sound and Lighting of Huntington Beach,
CA, the system included two main arrays featuring 14 VERTEC
VT4889 full-size line array speakers, two supporting side arrays
of 12 VT4889 speakers each, and six signal-delayed, rear-area
arrays of six VT4889 speakers. According to Moises Tagle of Concert
Services, the decision to use a total of 88 VERTEC VT4889 line
array speakers was based on the product’s performance and
flexibility. “We chose the VERTEC system because to date
there is no other box that projects as well and is so true to
its specifications like VERTEC,” Tagle said, who also worked
with business partners Benny Colon and Danny Santana. “The
speakers performed amazingly well —we walked around the
Coliseum and the coverage and fidelity was very impressive.”
Tagle added
that the VERTEC system provided outstanding coverage despite
the Coliseum’s unique dimensions. “Our last
seat at the top of the bowl was at a rather steep upwards tilt
angle, but for the VERTEC arrays that was no problem because
of the rigging system and deployment angles that the system is
capable of.”
The VERTEC VT4889 was the first in a growing family of line
array system products that now includes the VT4880, VT4881 and
VT4882 subwoofers along with mid-and small sized line arrays.
The enclosures can be mixed and matched to accommodate nearly
any concert, special event or other sound reinforcement application.
