JBL PROFESSIONAL INTRODUCES PAGING MICS FOR SOUNDZONE® BUSINESS MUSIC SYSTEMS

Two new Soundzone paging microphones, models Z-M1 and Z-M2, have been introduced by the Commercial Sound Products Group of JBL Professional. Designed for use with JBL Soundzone music controllers and systems, these microphones are designed specifically for paging in a business setting.

The Z-M1 Paging Microphone features a professional-grade microphone head, mounted on an innovative three-segment goose-neck, which allows it to be positioned conveniently at an angle appropriate to the user. The other end of the goose-neck is affixed to the Z-M1's heavy steel base. Since most of the microphone's weight is in the base, it is less likely to fall over and is stable even when the gooseneck is extended at extreme angles.

When the user presses the large red "TALK" button, the microphone is engaged until the button is released. The button's large size and contrasting color allow it to be easily seen and used in low light situations. The Z-M1 may be used with all Soundzone Music Controllers and the SMS1 Soundzone Music System.

For use with the Soundzone Z32S Controller and other assignable zone business music systems, the Z-M2 offers a switch for assigning the page to zone 1, zone 2 or both zones. Identical in size and specifications to the Z-M1, the Z-M2 allows pages to be made into either of the two zones via a convenient toggle switch. Removable labels are included for labeling the zones.

"We developed the Soundzone mics to give our customers premium grade paging microphones with easy to use features and built-in zone selection for multizone systems."

The Z-M1 Soundzone Single Zone Paging Microphone and Z-M2 Soundzone Dual Zone Paging Microphone are now available from JBL Professional.
