EASE 4.0 Available from JBL Professional

JBL PROFESSIONAL ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF EASE 4.0 SOFTWARE

NORTHRIDGE, CA - OCTOBER 5, 2002 - JBL Professional has announced the availability through its sales channels of the newest version of the popular EASE software program. EASE 4.0, developed by Dr. Wolfgang Ahnert of ADA, Berlin, Germany, has been updated to include many new and exciting features.

EASE 4.0 has all the standard features of EASE 3.0, but also includes many new elements such as: enhanced user-friendly windows for menus and working surface; complex coverage and cluster calculations; improved and simplified entering of room data; simplified room modeling; room visualization by high definition rendering; better visualization of impulse response computations; expanded features in EARS; new AURA acoustic module; and simplified web-based registration.

Compatible with EASE 3.0, EASE 4.0 will read all EASE loudspeaker and project data files and convert them. The easier-to-use EASE 4.0 software is supplied on CD ROM. EASE 4.0 requires at least 128 MB of RAM and 150 MB of available hard disk space. EASE 4.0 is compatible with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP. JBL Professional will begin accepting orders for EASE 4.0 in October 2002.
