The Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian Broadcast), has just installed a JBL Cinema Surround System. The Munich based company is one of the largest state broadcasters in Germany. The active driven front channel Systems are equipped with JBL 3632 Screen Array® Speakers. The Sub channel in the control room is powered by JBL 4642A Subwoofers. The surround sound is produced by JBL 8340A Speakers.
The totally new studio will be fully operational early 2002 and will be utilized for a variety of projects, including post production, dubbing and mixing of various TV and Film projects. Recent projects for Bayerischer Rundfunk have included the famous crime drama series’ ‘Tatort’ and ‘Polizeiruf 110’.
