ITALY-BASED MADEMA S.P.A. PURCHASES
JBL PROFESSIONAL VERTEC DP SERIES LINE ARRAY SYSTEMS

NORTHRIDGE, CALIFORNIA, December 7, 2005— In a move that demonstrates the growing European adoption of the VERTEC DP Series with JBL DrivePack® technology, leading audio provider Madema S.p.A. of Italy has purchased 64 VT4888DP-AN systems and put them into immediate use on the company's diverse range of sound reinforcement projects. Featuring remote control and monitoring capabilities via optional DPAN network modules and Harman Pro’s HiQnet™ System Architect Software, these self-powered, integrated audio systems are based on JBL's popular VT4888 midsize line array elements.


Madema S.p.A. recently fielded their new self-powered
JBL VT4888DP-AN system for “50 Canzonissime”,
a televised popular music show in Rome, Italy.

Based in Rome, Madema S.p.A. is an established and well-known Italian audio production and rental services company, with a strong focus in the broadcast events market. Client projects range from popular music TV show support, to classical music and opera, along with regional touring support for both Italian and international artists.

According to Massimo Micheli, CEO of Madema S.p.A. "The VERTEC DP Series is the perfect loudspeaker line for us. It is light, powerful and sounds fantastic! The company's first major use of the new JBL VT4888DP’s was for a televised entertainment show, "50 Canzonissime," in September. Basedon songs that have made pop music history in Italy during the 1960s and ‘70s, the show featured entertainers like Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor and Lou Bega. The television studio production featured four arrays of eight enclosures each. Stage monitor sound was handled with 20 JBL SRX712M’s.
